After a mutilated corpse is found in the Arizona desert,
a face-blind FBI linguist begins searching for an elusive killer from his past.
A lone FBI agent teams up with a sheriff, his deputy and a Navajo cop
while investing a mysterious body that is linked to a long string of killings.
He must navigate through the small-town landscape while hiding the fact
that he is not acting on behalf of the bureau… all while keeping
his face-blindness a secret from the Sheriff.
He will soon discover that he’s not the only one keeping secrets.

Sanders & Jay Fabares (FAB-Ray)
Jay had an idea (that Sanders thought was pretty fun) that wouldn’t go away and after a few months of trying by herself, Sanders offered to help bring it to life… and the result is what you’re reading so far! The Pale combines all the things that they love into a nice little narrative that’s totally FAB.
Sanders is the head writer, with Jay helping here and there. Jay is the artist and letterer, with Sanders providing feedback here and there. This husband and wife duo enjoy working together while also trying to raise their daughter.
The Pale is their first work together.
